What is the Basic VCA certificate?

Basic VCA (B-VCA) stands for "Veiligheid, Gezondheid en Milieu Checklist Aannemers" and is intended for workers who operate in high-risk environments. It covers basic safety knowledge — understanding risks, preventing accidents, and working safely with tools, machines, hazardous substances, and in specific work situations.

B-VCA is part of an international safety standard and is recognized in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and increasingly in other European countries. It is valid for 10 years.
